If you’re looking to really round out your marketing plan, don’t overlook these techniques for your business.

Offer a Membership Service

This doesn’t have to be anything that a customer would need to pay to receive. You could structure your membership service as a free rewards program. The more somebody shops with you or uses your services, the more money they will end up saving in the long run. Offer discounts that give a customer 50 percent off or something like buy one get one free. You still encourage customers to spend money because discounts are better than paying full price. This is a great way to get people interested in what you have to offer, but it also helps to bring people back.

Put Your Business on the Map

If your business isn’t showing up on Google or Apple maps, people aren’t going to be able to find you easily. You need to create an Apple ID to add your business to Apple Maps, but this is a really easy process to complete. You’ll want to make sure you take care of this item of business before you start promoting yourself any further. Otherwise, you could end up turning people away without knowing it.

Direct Mail

While it might seem like this is a bit outdated, there is still a lot of success to be found in direct mailings. People often feel more of a connection with your business if they get a physical mail item from you and approximately 42% of direct mail will get read or ascanned. You can keep it simple with a postcard, or a letter is effective as well. Think about including a discount with your direct mailing.

Native Advertising

Native advertising refers to sponsored content that you can have posted on websites, resembling a blog article or editorial piece. The purpose of this content is to get people interested in what you have to say. You can utilize a call-to-action that will promote your business, website, social media profile, etc.

Find a Consistent Voice

You want to find your niche and then stick to it. Use the same kind of tone and voice across all marketing platforms that you’re using. If you are trying to appear very laid back and youthful, this can be an effective way to speak. However, it’s not going to make a good impression on people if you switch your voice halfway through your marketing scheme. Consistency is key.

SEO Content

It’s a great idea to use content across all kinds of platforms when you’re trying to increase your presence, but you want to make sure that you’re using the right kind of content. SEO content will utilize specific search terms that are commonly used all across the Internet. When you have a bunch of these terms within your content, it will start coming up more frequently when people search for something relating to your business.

There are so many different ways that you can market your business successfully. What works for your company really depends on your goals, your motto, and what you’re looking to profit from.
