Entrepreneur Interview Q & A
1. What is your business/Business Name? What does your business do?
Laurie Delk – Top Leader, Professional Network Marketer, Trainer, Coach, Top 30 in Send Out Cards
Teach and train people to do better follow up, keep in touch w clients and customers, send gratitude to others for business, and build relationships.
2. Why did you get into this field? What opportunities did you see?
I have always done things like that in my business of web/graphic design for over 20 years, so it was a simple add-on that I could use to provide more value to my clients, as well as *send out happiness to the world* and change lives.. 🙂
3. What have been your biggest challenges?
Saying No. I always want to be there for everyone, and do everything for anyone that needs my help or needs anything. But I have to remember to take time for me, and my personal family as well.
4. What has been your greatest reward?
Seeing people and their business excel with some of the coaching, teaching, training, and custom cards I design for them. Seeing them happy with their results makes me happy, and shows me it has been worthwhile
5. If you could change something, what would it be?
hmmmm…….I don’t know, honestly, I am pretty happy with my life and business. Just to be able to help and reach more people.
6. If you could give a new entrepreneur advice, what would it be?
Don’t let naysayers bog you down. Talk to people that will lift you higher and believe in you. Don’t quit on a bad day. If you want something – go for it – write down your reasons WHY you want it, and refer to that when the going gets tough to remember your reason.
7. Social Media. Yay or Nay?
Yay – definitely. No questions asked.
8. How do you market your products?
I do a lot of networking locally. I also interact on social media in many groups and try to answer questions for people, provide value, and to build friendships and relationships. People do business with those they know, like and trust – and remember.
9. Is your business a service or a product? If you are a product, how do you handle production?
Both. For coaching, more of a service. For Send Out Cards – both – it is a service to allow you to send out greeting cards and gifts cheaper, faster, easier, etc. (but that is also a product) lol
10. What is unique about your business?
For me, I have been doing graphic design over 20 years, so that coupled with Send Out Cards – allows me to create custom designs for my clients, that fit *them*. For Send Out Cards – little to no competition, easier and more economical than buying in stores, custom abilities.
11. Sell me your product/service.
If you want to make a BETTER difference in your business and/or personal life – contact me. I can help you to keep in touch with your customers and clients, as well as your friends and family. We can create campaigns designed especially for you, or you can choose from over 60,000 cards we already have. I help you find what you need in your business to excel, and to build better relationships with your clients. Studies show that over 80% of people *leave* doing business with a place due to *perceived indifference* — that means *really no reason* — If you are building a relationship with your clients, just like in a marriage, WHEN there are issues (never if; every person and business has issues at one time or another) – and if that relationship is built – then it is more likely to be talked about and taken care of, rather than just leaving.
12. How can people get in touch with you? What’s your website/Contact information?
