~by Carmen Jordan~

Pulling yourself up by your boot straps is never easy, but you will often need to “suck it up” if you want to succeed in life. A lot of times you won’t know where to begin. You may be drained mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, or financially; or it could be all of the above. For me it was all the above. However, I couldn’t let temporary life circumstances pull me down. For the sake of my sanity and the love of my children, I had to suck it up, and quickly.

I’d like to offer some Fearless Words of Wisdom for individuals who feel the light at the end of tunnel will never brighten.

Fearless Wisdom #1

Try not to get overwhelmed. Take one step at a time. Set a goal for each subject matter you’re dealing with, and chip away at it bit by bit.

Fearless Wisdom #2

Self-check your negative attitude. In order for your circumstances to turn around, you must think and be positive. Although your world may seem to be crumbling, take advantage of the opportunities that are before you. I know it may be difficult, but anything worth having is worth fighting for. I’m a living testimony of turning an unforeseen circumstance into an opportunity.

Fearless Wisdom #3

A good friend shared an encouraging quote with me in the midst of me pulling at life’s bootstraps. “When you’re on time, you’re late; when you’re early, you’re on time”. Those words Korey shared have stuck with me. Now I share with you that life’s circumstances are only the opportunity to make you stronger and prepare you to be fearless. Staying ready, organized, and on time are the beginning steps to your success. Suck It Up and recognize there is a fearless individual in you waiting to take advantage of life’s opportunities.
