So many times in business we do things that don’t feel right – because we don’t listen to our heart or conscience. The cool thing about being a business owner is that you get to listen to your heart, and to take your business in the direction that your heart wants you to go. I think that it is critically important to listen to that inner voice when making critical business decisions.
I’ve found when I didn’t listen to my heart, and instead ignored it, I ended up making the wrong decision. Obviously, in business you have to have numbers, and focus on numbers, however, there is a fairly large amount of intuition that goes along with being an entrepreneur, and you have to make calculated risks, and decide what you’re going to do based on those risks.
Sometimes we make decisions that feel “icky” in business. If something feels bad, then don’t do it. Because if you make decisions in your business that are counter to your feelings and intuition, you are going to feel uncomfortable about them. And after all, if you own a business, it is your heart and soul, and where you are focusing most of your energy. You’ll be giving yourself lots of icky vibes.
Or… you can listen to your inner vibe, and make sure that your business decisions are made in a way that you feel comfortable, and are in tune with. You’ll be happier, and you will do better in your business because you’ll have a vibe that you’re happy with.
