Sales is a numbers game. The more customers you are able to reach, the more sales you will ultimately make. While there are limits to how quickly you can execute a sale, there are tools that can help make your sales process more efficient and effective.
1. Signals/Yesware
In the world of sales, timing is everything. You want to execute a sales pitch when the product is still fresh in your client’s mind. One way to accomplish this is to have a software program that informs you the moment that someone opens an email you sent. Signals/Yesware lets you know when someone opens an email and can be useful when determining if your subject or the content of your email is the reason your email is not being opened.
2. Boomerang
Another challenge with email is sending one at the right time of the day. You may forget to send an email at a time when you are the most likely to receive a response or you may have a meeting scheduled. Fortunately, there is a free tool called Boomerang which allows you to automate the sending out of emails. The app can also sync with many other apps, making it much easier to carry out sales operations.
3. eSign
The sales process requires that a considerable amount of paperwork be filled out. Electronic signing tools allow for you to eliminate the need to print, scan, and have your clients sign physical paper documents. Instead, employees sign on a tablet, and the information is automatically digitized and stored on a server for later retrieval. Both eSignatures and traditional wet signatures are considered to be identical from a legal standpoint.
4. SalesLoft Prospector
SalesLoft Prospector lets you generate a list from LinkedIn searches. This allows you to generate a list of prospects by searching through LinkedIn profiles. It is then much easier to find prospects in industries that are relevant to your business.
5. Marketing Professionals
If you would like to focus your energy and efforts on sales, consider outsourcing your marketing productions. Choose a company which specializes in your type of marketing, such as Succeed At Eagle, that can really understand your audience and help you focus your time elsewhere. Hiring a business to take care of your marketing is a great permanent option, or it can be temporary as your business grows and you are able to start your own marketing program.
There are many tools out there to help any business step up their sales game. Freeing up your time and making processes more efficient can really help you devote more time to what you need to do for your business.
