Since entrepreneurship is the foundation of any nation’s economy, it is essential to economic development in developed and developing nations. In the last several decades, there has been a significant improvement in the role of women in our society. Women are now holding traditionally male-dominated corporate roles and are even outperforming males in some fields. Gender norms that were more pervasive in society decades ago are steadily eroding.

When it comes to issuing solutions, women have a unique set of perspectives that can improve the quality of their answers. Women offer a distinct set of problems and experiences to decision-making that can improve the decision’s quality.

Three Places to Develop a Strategy

The following three aspects of your business are crucial, even though a study by Calpers indicated that successful women executives share qualities with all effective leaders.

Strategy for using digital marketing

It is impossible to exaggerate the value of a digital marketing plan for any firm. On average, small businesses generate $3 in revenue for every $1.60 they spend on Google Ads. Nothing is more effective than digital marketing, according to Lead Origin founder and partner Zohaib Hassan, if you want to engage with your customers and know what messages they respond to.

The ad firm Fempire Media was founded by Shelby Fowler-Moss. Despite the recent recession, Moss assists women looking to enhance their ROI using her expertise in internet marketing, particularly Facebook advertising. She may accomplish this by educating women on how to stand out online and produce profitable advertising campaigns.

Sales Plan: For any organization, a sales strategy is essential. Jim Berryhill, the co-founder of DecisionLink and chairman of the board, stated that “effective value-selling solutions can assist your sales department to win more deals, raise deal size, and have more meaningful sales dialogues. However, only after doing your research and analyzing your present market, strategy, and messaging.

Helping women develop their sales strategy and “do their homework” is another component of Moss’ job at Fempire Media. Moss teaches students how to conduct lucrative advertising campaigns, advertise their services, attract clients, confidently close on a sales call, and create a remarkable client experience as part of her six-month academy.

Financial Strategy: Both inside and outside of the business world, corporate finances are scary. But women may find it more difficult.

One study by Boston Consulting Group indicated that in a pool of approximately 1,500 enterprises, women-owned startups made 10% higher revenue than those created by men over five years, said the top non-profit owner Luz Urrutia. Despite this accomplishment, however, women’s business owners are not supported by our financial system. Only $1 out of every $23 in traditional small business loans goes to women, and in 2021, women raised just 2% of the cash allocated in venture capital.

Research from the Harvard Business Review demonstrates that access to technology is a critical element in accelerating worldwide gender equality. Organizations like the UN concur the UN Women’s innovation strategy for 2018–2021 has made technology a core focus. Technology is being used by women-owned businesses all over the world to expand. Particularly, business owners and entrepreneurs can compete more successfully with tools like smartphones, tablets, and cloud-based services.

Small businesses and the adaptability of mobile devices

A sizeable portion of the economic engine that propels the world ahead is made up of smaller businesses. According to World Bank figures, there may be 445 million small companies worldwide. Women entrepreneurs who balance work and family obligations own a lot of small firms. It is now simpler to maintain that balance and build enterprises thanks to smart technologies.

Access to Information and Learning

The expansion of information has required access to computers, mobile devices, and the Internet. The National Association of Women Business Owners is one organization that has developed virtual learning environments. Artificial intelligence and other cutting-edge technologies are even being utilized to assist connect female business entrepreneurs with the resources they require.

Mobile payments are enabled via smartphones and tablets.

Women business owners have benefited especially from mobile payments. Women frequently can’t travel to faraway suppliers or bank offices due to social expectations and obligations to their families. Payments made electronically guarantee a woman’s money is private and secure, reducing the likelihood that family members or other parties may request a share of the income.

Technologies, including selling platforms, payment processing, and education, are offering a broad range of support to promote expansion.
